Dyeing
Dyeing Your Own Yarn
In this one-evening class you will have the opportunity to hand-paint your own yarn, finish it and take it home. You will also receive an easy pattern for using the sample you dyed! You will cover many techniques. All materials are included in the workshop fee of $75. Jan. 21 & Jan 28 Thur 5:30- 8 pm taught by Jan.
Knitting
Cable Shrug
Create this fun and flirty cabled shrug that looks great on all body types! This workshop will be over the course of four weeks. Jan. 22, 29, Feb 5 and 12 (fridays) 10 am -12 pm $50
Origami Jacket
The construction of this jacket is not only flattering to every kind of body type, but also fun to knit! Chose a sock weight yarn, large needles and pair it with a picot edge. This workshop is taught in six sessions skipping every other week. $75, Jan 8, 22, Feb 5, 19, March 5, 19, 6-8pm W Taught by Laura.
"Steek It" Sweater
In this workshop, we'll knit an almost seamless sweater in the round and turn it into a cardigan using steeks. The workshop is a series of six classes. Before each class, you will have homework. During class, we'll review the homework, go over techniques and answer questions. $125, Jan 8, 22, Feb 5, 19, Mar 5, 19, 6-7:30 pm, taught by Karen.
How to Knit

How to Tunisian Crochet
Learn the basic skills of tunisian crochet in one small individualized workshop. No experience needed. Jan. 22, Fri 6-8 pm, $20 taught by Jan.
How to Read a Crochet Pattern & Understand Diagrams
This lecture class will give students the opportunity to ask many questions and receive handouts full of tips, as well as learning to decipher the amazing and helpful Crochet Diagram. This class is most helpful if you have crocheted previously. Jan. 20, Wed, 6-8 pm $20 taught by Jan.
Spinning
Drop Spindle
Join this workshop and try your hand at spinning. You will enjoy the soothing motion of spinning your own yarn. $35, Jan 14, Th, 6-8 pm taught by Karen
Weaving
Intro to Weaving on a Knitters Loom
You need to know to weave your first project on a knitter’s loom. Rental of looms are available for $30. This $30 can be applied to the purchase of a loom. Jan. 24, 9:30 am- 4:30 pm, $75, taught by Karen.
You must sign up and pay in advance to secure your space for the workshops. Workshop fees can not be refunded, but can be transfered.
