More Workshops!!

We have added more workshops to our May schedule!!! So get your calenders out and start planning for a month full of fiber fun.

Weaving
(not till June & July, but classes are already starting to fill up)
Beginning Weaving with Karen, Sunday July 25th, from 9:30- 4:30, $75 if you need to rent a loom, the rental fee is $30. This $30 can be applied to the purchase of an Ashford Knitters Loom. Learn the basics to this fun and amazing craft. Weaving is a wonderful way to use yarn in a new fashion.

Weaving Part 2 with Karen, Thurs June 10th, from 5:30 - 7:30, $35. In this lecture class learn how to plan a project, fix mistakes and have all weaving questions answered. Bring pen and paper if you would like to take notes.

Weaving Clutch with Karen, Sunday June 27th, from 9:30 - 4:30, $75. Join this fun class with Karen and make your very own woven clutch!

Spinning
Beginning Drop Spindle with Karen, Thur, May 20th , $35. Supplies will be discussed in the class. If you have always wanted to spin your own yarn, this is the class for you!. In this class you will learn to spin yarn from a selection of wonderful fibers.

Spool Knitting
Spool Knit Necklace with Beate, Thur, May 27th, from 2:00 - 5:00, $35. Easy to learn spool knitting technique. Create a sparkling necklace in about 3 hours.

Knitting
Learn to Cha-Cha with Beate, Mon, May 24th, from 2:00 - 3:00, $20. Add texture to your knitting. A few rows of Trendsetter's Cha Cha yarn will add the "wow-effect" to your scarf.



Lace Scarf with Beate, Thur, May 27th, 12:00 - 1:30, $30. Create a beautiful scarf with a heart shaped lace pattern. Sooo lovable and soft. Made in two sections. Learn to graft both together for a symmetrical finish.



Petal Bib with Jenny, Tues, May 18th & 25th, from 6:00 - 8:00. In this two session class make this adorable bib and learn how to do short rows!



I can't find the yarn.....Now what do I do????? with Jenny, Thur, May 20th, from 6:00 - 8:00, $20. In this lecture class learn how to substitute yarns from the ones called for in patterns. Take a stroll through the shop and talk about fiber and what all those little symbols mean on the labels. Bring along patterns that you might consider for future projects. Bring pen and paper if you would like to take notes.

Trunk Show
