Yarn Lady thinks that a Carnival Cruise to Baja, Mexico would be a great place to get together with our knitting friends and knit all weekend! We are going on the Carnival Paradise on May 6, 2010 for three nights. Pricing per person which includes taxes and fees is as follows-

Ocean View Cabin- double occupancy $ 500 per person
Balcony Cabin double occupancy $500 per person

Sunday- Fun Day at Sea

Deposit of $ 100.00 per person due November 20, 2010
Final Payment Due March 1, 2011

Knitted Baby Sweater with Louise, Tue, Nov 16 & Dec 14, from 6-8pm $45
Join Louise and knit a baby sweater for a boy or a girl... or knit them both! These cute baby sweaters will keep your loved ones nice and cozy in the cold winter months. Use either worsted weight or DK weight the choice is yours.

Knitted Wave Afghan, Nov 17 & Dec1, 5:30-8pm, $40
Learn to knit this fabulous wave afghan using different shades of worsted weight yarn. The teachers will help you choose the perfect color combinations to suit your taste.




Pesonal Footprints, Sun, Dec 5, $60 from 10am-4pm
You'll never have to knit another sock that does not fit! With Cat Bordhi's new pathway's for sock knitting, you'll learn the shape of your foot and how to make a sock just for you!





Spinning Workshops

Playing with Plying, Tues, Nov 2, $35, from 6-7:30, Karen Hodge
Special skills for Spindle knitters- Now that you've mastered spinning singles, come learn several plying techniques from simple to sophisticated. With these new tools you will create your own unique yarn. Bring 2oz of spun singles for class.




Workshops fill up fast so to secure your place in the workshops, you must pay in advance.


We just received this fun and fabulous new yarn Lei from Ragazza this week. It is perfect for those fast chunky knits on big needles. Just in time for the holiday's!
